Scarlet Sky

I'm so glad I know you
   Your kindness lights my way
   I was lost without a care
without a prayer and I don't know where
I was going or the price there was to pay

      All the dreams I had and plans I made
      Seemed as pointless as the games they played
   I was saving silhouettes away
    from nothing to my name
     then you showed up and showed me the way...

Oh I remember the scarlet sky
that caught my eye
as I looked to the clouds above...
            and now your grace
            your friendly face
       fills me with glee
   and I can see that sky again...
                             This time my mind starts to race
                             There are no clouds to bring the rain
                                 Just your name
               In their place...
